Satellite Is Launching Soon

Satellite is designed to streamline GitOps-driven deployments through a single, self-contained service. It enables teams to create and manage deployment tasks, securely trigger deployments through a dedicated API, and monitor deployment activity from an integrated web interface.

Built with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, and a modern Vue 3 frontend, Satellite packages both the API and user portal into a single deployable container. It supports both local authentication and snakeNet ID (OIDC) sign-in, making it suitable for organizations that require secure and flexible access control.

One of Satellite's core capabilities is validating deployment requests against GitOps configuration before publishing deployment events for downstream automation. This helps ensure that only approved images are deployed while keeping deployment workflows fast and consistent.

The built-in portal provides a clean interface for managing GitOps tasks, viewing deployment history, and monitoring recent deployment runs without requiring separate frontend infrastructure.

Satellite has been engineered for modern container-based environments and integrates cleanly with Traefik, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Docker Compose, making it easy to incorporate into existing DevOps pipelines.
